- Format of the examination: the Listening (40 minutes) and Speaking exams will take place a week BEFORE your exam week. Your teacher will advise you which day/time. For the Speaking test, you will be given two tasks to prepare at home. You do not know in advance which task we are going to ask you so you must prepare both. Remember to extend your answers as much as possible. Always answer in full sentences and try to give extra details to get extra marks. Use connectives, intensifiers as well as negative form and opinion phrases. You can find the Speaking tasks here but your teacher will give you a copy in class.
- The Writing (1 hour including Grammar) and Reading (45 minutes) exams will take place during exam week and should appear on your exam Timetable. The Reading test will be as the Reading exercises in Listos 1 and 2 so this is why it is important you go over these exercises at home again. The Writing exercise will consist of one task. Look at what we covered this year and try to imagine what we will ask you to write about...
- The Grammar (we advise you to spend 25 minutes on the grammar) exam will also take place during the Exam week (same day as Writing test) and will include everything we covered this year: agreement and position of adjectives/Immediate Future/Preterite Tense of AR.IR.ER verbs as well as TENER/IR/HACER.
